Edmonton Casinos by Train, Mall, Road
This site lists eight land-based gaming venues in the Edmonton area, out of 30 across Alberta. This page sorts them by how you reach them: the LRT, the mall, or the roads at the edge of town.
Opening hours sit in the "Hours side by side" table below the map. Each venue's own page carries them too, so check it before setting out. The AGLC directory lists addresses, phones and games.
Downtown Arena and the Mall
Grand Villa Casino Edmonton sits at 10204 104 Avenue NW, in the ICE District beside Rogers Place. It opened on September 7, 2016, one day before the arena itself. MacEwan LRT station gives direct access. Gateway Casinos runs it.
Starlight Casino Edmonton is inside West Edmonton Mall, on Level 2. It also has its own exterior door, Entrance 9 on 90 Avenue, so you need not cross the mall to reach it. Until 2018 it was the Palace Casino. Gateway reopened it as Starlight in September 2018 after a $57 million renovation.

Neighbourhood Rooms, City and St. Albert
PURE Casino Edmonton is at 7055 Argyll Rd NW. It has a 12-table poker room. PURE Casino Yellowhead, at 12464 153 St NW, has the Pearl Showroom, an 18+ show room. Both are PURE rooms. Since December 2024, PURE has been owned by Indigenous Gaming Partners, a partnership of five Nova Scotia Mi'kmaw First Nations.
Century Casino & Hotel Edmonton, at 13103 Fort Road, opened in November 2006. The nearest LRT stop is Belvedere station on the Capital Line. Besides the gaming floor, it has an off-track betting parlour for horse races and a small hotel.
St. Albert has its own room. Century Casino St. Albert sits at 24 Boudreau Road, in Campbell Business Park just north of Anthony Henday Drive. It opened at that spot in 1994 as the Apex Casino, and Century took ownership on October 1, 2016. There is no hotel. Neither Century room is part of the racetrack sale described below.
Just Past the City Line
River Cree Resort & Casino stands on Enoch Cree Nation land directly west of Edmonton, south of Whitemud Drive. It opened in October 2006. Enoch Cree Nation bought out Paragon Gaming in 2014 and Marriott in 2018, and is now the sole owner. The resort runs its own Players Club.
Century Mile Racetrack & Casino is at Edmonton International Airport, in Leduc County, and opened on April 1, 2019. Its full one-mile track was described at the announcement as the only mile-long track in Western Canada. Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing run roughly May to September. Standardbred harness racing takes over in fall and winter. On September 28, 2026, Century Casinos agreed to sell Century Mile and Century Downs to Highfield Investment Group.
